An Interview With Jackson Miller

July 15th, 2010 by aussieboy63

Q Are you originally from Arizona, or did you move there?

A I’m born and raised in Wisconsin, and I’ve lived there my whole life. I moved to Connecticut for a summer job, but after that I’ll be back in the Midwest to finish school. I love Wisconsin, the people there are real, theres not much drama, and there’s a good mix of big cities like Milwaukee and Chicago close by with a great nightlife, but also more of the outdoorsy stuff, like camping and fishing. I grew up in a city with a gorgeous beach on Lake Michigan, so I go there a lot in the summer as well to play in the sand and check out the cute guys J

Q How did the name Jackson Miller come about?

A After agreeing to film for Boycrush, I needed to come up with a name. Two of my good friends and I went to IHOP at midnight to discuss possibilities. I don’t remember exactly how the discussion went, but I know that eventually the two girls I was with decided it should be Jackson Miller. Pretty sure it was after 3 coffees and a bacon and egg cheeseburger.

Q In the Interview with Bryan everyone gets asked about why doing porn, everyone says just something that always wanted to do.  But what was the moment that you even considered looking into doing it.

A This is actually a funny story. The moment I considered it was when, out of the blue, I got a phone call from Bryan. It turns out that after a conversation with my boyfriend about money, he thought it would be funny to submit an application to Boycrush (his favorite site) for me just to see if I’d be accepted. I had no idea he did that until Bryan called me asking when I could fly out. It took me about a week to decide I wanted to do it, and I’m glad I did!

Q What were you thinking when you went into the interview room for the first time to do the solo and then your first hard-core scene

A I’ve always loved being naked and flirty, so I mostly was excited for the opportunity to do it in front of the cameras. I was a little nervous for the interview, but only for answering questions (I really don’t like the sound of my voice on tape). Once I got to the hard-core scenes, the cameras disappeared and I was totally into the sex, which I hope the fans can pick up on.

Q It is now over 2 years since making your debut, how much do you think that you have changed from the person who did that first interview?  And in what ways?

A I’ve become a lot more confident. It may be hard to believe, but I used to have a hard time with body image. I always thought I was too skinny, too short, etc. Filming for Boycrush and reading reviews from the fans in the forum has really boosted my self-confidence and helped me do great things in other areas of my life. I really do owe a lot to the Boycrush fans!

Q Your first scene after your interview was a double solo with Gabe Jackson.  Why was that?

A Gabe Crawford, but yeah. This was a really interesting scene to do. It was a Boycrush first, and I really didn’t know what to expect. We were told we were going to jack off together, and not have sex, but, obviously, I couldn’t keep my hands off of him, haha. Filming that totally took me back to high school, when you would be hanging out with a new boyfriend who you hadn’t fooled around with yet or watching porn with a “straight” friend, and you would slowly get into each other and whatever happened, happened.

Q What do you like the most about yourself?

A I like that I’m modest, haha. In all honesty, I’m a very well-rounded guy with interests in a lot of different things. I like that people like me, not just because of my body, but because I’m an interesting person who goes out of his way to make people feel good.

Q If someone was to take you out to dinner, what would be your perfect night?

A My perfect dinner would be an expensive French restaurant with great wine and even better bread. There has to be great conversation, otherwise I totally tune out. After dinner, he would take me back to his place, and we would curl up on the couch and watch a movie until we fell asleep or moved on to other things.

Q What is a good day for you?

A  A good day would be one where I feel I’ve accomplished something. I can’t stand to just lie around all day relaxing, I need to be constantly on the move. If I’ve done something to improve myself, then it’s a good day.

Q You seem to have remained a very private person compared to most in the industry.  Is that a deliberate thing on your part?

A After I filmed for Boycrush, I got into a serious relationship that lasted two years. I never film when I’m in a relationship, so I lost touch with Bryan and the rest of the industry. Once the relationship ended, I reconnected with Bryan and filmed again. Porn for me is not a career, it’s just a hobby, but one that I really enjoy!

Q When you are not at Boyrcush and Jackson Miller, what do you do with the other part of your life?

A Oh where do I start? I’m a full time student working on my second bachelor’s degree. During the school year I work four jobs, and still find time to train for marathons (third one will be Chicago this fall). Currently, I’m working in Connecticut for the summer developing next generation gene sequencing technology, pretty much something straight out of Gattica if you’ve ever seen the movie.

Q.    Is Lucky perfume still your  favorite fragrance

A. Lucky still drives me wild. The first guy I ever fooled around with was wearing it, and he was HOT. I can catch the smell from a block away, which at times has gotten me in trouble, like when an attractive co-worker was wearing it on my first day at work. Pretty sure I followed him around all day

Q    In the interview with Bryan you said that at 19 you were most proud of the fact that go-to guy for friends.  Is that still the case

A I’m always the “mom” at parties. I do have a lot of fun, but I like to take care of people, especially when they’re a bit too drunk, and begin yelling in foreign languages and throwing cigars at moving vehicles (Shout out to Tom!)

Q    In the interview with Bryan you said that you were Bi.  Is that still the case

A Yes, I am proudly bisexual. A lot of people in the gay community don’t accept that, but I am sexually attracted to people regardless of their gender. I’m not going to go too deeply into it, but I feel the gay movement needs to begin to embrace bisexuals for who they are, and not push us away because “we’re not gay enough.”

Q    In the interview when talking about what you liked about a man you said you were a sucker for steel-grey eyes.  Do the eyes still do it for you or have you changed preferences

A  The eyes will ALWAYS have it for me. light blue, blue/grey eyes are absolutely gorgeous and I am immediately attracted to people with them

Q    You came to Boycrush as a top, but the last scene with Patrick you bottomed also.  Is that a change or just the way the scene went.

AYou haven’t seen the end of my performances as a powerful top, but I’ve been trying some new things as well. Patrick is a great performer, and I was happy I got to work with him again. More to come hopefully………. :)
